This was an Az project. We didn’t get to wire it, hence all the exterior wiring, but we were able to get some locations converted as local, which allows all the TVs to play through the speakers in each individual room, but also be grouped and shared with all zones throughout the space. This turned out really good!! Originally, the builder was going to use a sound bar under the 85” Frame.. we converted that using invisible in wall speakers, driven by a sonos amp and woofer; a perfect balance of performance and aesthetics.
OH, these are awesome!! Flat paneled speakers, no grill, no rusting, no birds nest living on top of speakers outside. These sit on the wall like your flat TV.. We had to retro fit these wires, so we kept them up a little higher than the door trim. Typically we like to have a really nice, clean install. In this case, it turned out great and the wiring stayed invisible.
Outdoor TV for the hot tub. We had added the speaker a year ago, a simple, down low Monitor Audio single stereo speaker for the space. The sound doesn’t travel as far when it’s mounted lower on the wall. Part of the concern was the neighbors that are pretty close. The TV is a basic version Samsung, but with a simple cover, it should last just fine outside. David has been a great client for YEARS!
Final set up of a TV and receiver; speakers went in. We couldn’t perfectly center our speakers on the TV due to obstructions in the attic.. the great thing is the better speakers are very low profile, micro perforated grills and no bezel. The next level is going to the invisible speakers.. those styles live invisible to the room.
